Need a hand with Ludream, hit a bug, or have a question about how a feature works? Everything you need to reach us, plus answers to the most common questions, is on this page.
Contact: support@coderilla.de. We usually reply within a few business days. When you write, it helps to include your device model, your iOS or Android version, and the app version, which is shown at the bottom of the app's Settings screen.
The fastest way to get help is by email:

Ludream has no accounts and no login, so there is nothing to verify before we can help you. Just send a message and we will get back to you.
Full company and legal notice details are in our Imprint.
No, and there is no way to create one. Ludream runs entirely on your device: no sign-up, no password, no profile. Your dream journal is stored locally and is never sent to us.
That also means we cannot look anything up on our side. Whatever you tell us about a problem is what we have to work with, so a little detail goes a long way.
Reminders are local notifications scheduled by the app, so the cause is almost always a permission or a settings mismatch. Check that:
Premium is a one-time purchase tied to the Apple or Google account you bought it with. On a new device, or after reinstalling, sign in with that same account, open the premium screen in the app and tap Restore purchase.
If it still does not unlock, email us with your store receipt and we will sort it out. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us, so we cannot issue a refund ourselves, but we can point you to the right place.
Two ways, and you can use both. Under Settings, Import and Export, you can export your journal and your dream elements library as CSV or JSON, keep that file, and import it on the new device.
Or turn on cloud backup, which writes to your own iCloud on iOS and your own Google Drive on Android. The backup lives in your account, not ours, so we never see its contents.
Everything you log stays in a local database on your device. You can delete individual entries at any time in the journal, and uninstalling Ludream removes the on-device database with it. If you want to keep a copy, export before you uninstall.
Deleting the app is therefore final. There is no server-side copy for us to restore.
Dictation uses your device's own speech recognition, and it needs two permissions rather than one. In your device settings, check that Ludream has access to both the microphone and speech recognition. If speech recognition is denied, recording appears to start but no text ever arrives.
It also needs a language your device can transcribe. If your keyboard cannot dictate in a language, Ludream cannot either.
App lock uses Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode, so it needs at least one of those set up in your device settings first. On a device with no passcode and no biometrics enrolled, the toggle stays unavailable.
The download is free, and the free tier is not a trial. It includes the full dream journal with unlimited entries, all 8 technique guides, all 9 reality checks, 4 training exercises, the Insights overview with your streaks and lucid rate, the achievements, import and export, cloud backup and app lock.
Ludream Premium is a one-time purchase of 14.99 euros with no subscription. It adds 6 further training exercises plus guided meditations, 6 more in-depth articles, two more quiz topics, the deeper Insights pages including technique effectiveness, and reality check reminders up to 18 per day with your own message pool.
Ludream follows your device language, and you can change it by hand under Settings, Language.
Every language is written and maintained as an original, not run through machine translation.
That is common, and it does not mean anything is broken. Results vary widely between people, and no technique works reliably for everyone.
Two things do most of the work early on. The first is recall: write down whatever you remember every morning, even a single fragment, because you cannot notice a dream sign you never recorded. The second is genuine attention during reality checks. A check performed mechanically, while you already know the answer, has close to no effect.
If your recall is solid and lucidity still is not happening, MILD combined with WBTB has the strongest evidence behind it. Aspy et al. (2017) found that combination to be the most effective of the methods they tested. Ludream includes guided sessions for both, and the Insights tab can show you which techniques have actually worked for you.
Ludream is private by design. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking SDKs in the app. Your dream journal is stored on your device, and optional cloud backup goes to your own iCloud or Google Drive, which means the contents never pass through us.
The only outbound request the app makes is an optional anonymous star rating. The only personal data we process at all is an email address, and only if you voluntarily give us one on this website to subscribe to our newsletter.
The full detail, including your GDPR rights, is in our Privacy Policy.
Found a bug, or have an idea that would make Ludream better? We would genuinely like to hear it. Email us at support@coderilla.de with a short description of what happened, what you expected instead, and the steps to reproduce it.
Your device model, operating system version, and app version help us track a problem down faster. Because your journal never leaves your device, we cannot reproduce anything from your data, so a screenshot with anything private cropped out is often the quickest route to a fix.
Feature requests are welcome too. Ludream is built by a small team, and a fair amount of what is in the app started as an email from someone using it.
